The Russell Building

  No.6 on the Bund is The Russell Building, the former Imperial Bank of China (The first Commercial Bank of China), designed by Morrison, Gratton & Scott, completed in 1897, masonry structure, Gothic style. The roof of this building is decorated by Gothic spires, Romanesque dormer windows, and decorative tip crosses.
