Shanghai F1 International Circuit

  Shanghai F1 International Circuit located in Jiading District of Shanghai. It was designed by Hermann Tilke. The construction started in October 2002 and completed in June 2004, consuming a sum of $ 240,000,000. The F1 Circuit covers an area of 5.3 square kilometers, which can accommodate 200 thousand people.
The length of each lap is 5.45124 km, accommodating an average speed of 205 km/h. The longest length of the straight race way is 1175 meters. There are 56 race laps, with a total length of 305.066 km. On September 26, 2004, the first F1 Grand Prix in China was held here.
